Just found out that 90% of those viral recipe accounts on TikTok stop posting after 3 months because most of them burn out on content creation.
Saw it on a creator economy report from last week and it explains why half the food channels I followed in 2022 are just sitting there dead, has anyone else noticed the same thing happening with other trend accounts?

Wow, 90%? That's insanely high.

Tried a similar approach myself a few months back and it actually panned out better than expected. Your mileage may vary but for me @williamhenderson that number feels about right based on what I saw.

and honestly it makes total sense when you think about how much work goes into those videos lol. like filming, editing, keeping up with trends, and trying to make everything look perfect takes way more time than people realize. i've seen it happen with those "aesthetic morning routine" accounts too, they pop off for a couple months then vanish because nobody can sustain that level of content forever without burning out. plus most of em start off just for fun but once the algorithm starts demanding daily posts it turns into a second job with zero benefits. the ones that last are usually the ones who found a way to batch film or keep it super simple.
