Burned $50 on an AI art prompt pack that was just stolen DeviantArt images

I bought this big prompt pack from some site last month thinking it would help me learn, but every image it generated looked like a low quality rip off of artists I already follow. Turns out they just scraped the prompts from real people's work without credit. Has anyone else had luck getting refunds from these places?

Sounds like you got exactly what you paid for... a pack of stolen work from people who actually know what they're doing. Those prompt sellers aren't running a charity, they're just repackaging what works from real artists. Maybe try actually learning the craft instead of looking for shortcuts next time.

So you're saying those prompt sellers are basically flipping tutorials from established artists? That's what it sounds like jenny's getting at. Because I've seen people selling "pro secrets" that are literally just screenshots from YouTube videos with the watermark cropped out. Makes you wonder how many of those $47 "masterclass" courses actually teach anything you couldn't get for free with a quick search. Where's the line between sharing knowledge and just reselling someone else's work?
