Saw a sign at the Columbus library art show that made me do a double check

Last weekend I went to a small community art show at the Columbus library branch on High Street and counted 9 pieces that were clearly AI generated with no label saying so. One of them won second place in the mixed media group and the artist next to me whispered that she spent 3 weeks on her oil painting that got nothing. The show rules say all work must be original, so either nobody checked or they don't know how to spot it. Should I email the organizers or is that just making me the art police?
