Started watermarking my sketches before I post them, and one gallery already backed off
I do pencil portraits and got tired of finding my stuff in AI training sets. Last week I started putting a faint diagonal watermark with my initials and the date right across the face area before posting anywhere. One local gallery in Austin that had been using my scans without asking emailed me 2 days later to say they'd 'lost track of the file.' I'm not saying it fixes anything, but it made one place think twice. Anyone else tried a specific placement that actually held up against cropping?
