Spent a Tuesday feeding my resume into 12 different AI tools and got 14 different job suggestions back
One tool told me I should be a pastry chef in Portland and another said commercial drone pilot in Houston, so now I'm wondering if any of these things actually talk to each other or if they just make stuff up based on random keywords, has anyone else gotten completely off suggestions from these things?

Try tailoring your resume for each job post instead of blasting it everywhere.

Totally agree, customizing each one made a huge difference for me too.

and honestly tailoring resumes is the one thing that actually works in my experience. i used to just send out the same generic resume to everyone and got no responses at all. then i tried customizing it a bit for each job, like matching the keywords from their posting and highlighting the stuff that mattered to them, and suddenly i started getting callbacks. it takes more time upfront sure, but you end up wasting way less time on companies that would never hire you anyway. plus it makes you think harder about whether you actually want the job before you apply. keep it up, it really does pay off in the long run.
