Torque stripe creep on a GE90 in Tulsa
Worked a GE90 fan case last month at the Tulsa line station and noticed the torque stripes were almost invisible after just 8 cycles. What changed is we swapped to the cheaper paint pen from the supply locker back in March. That dye fades way too fast in the heat, half the crew cant tell if a bolt moved. Has anyone else had this issue since the vendor switch, or am I the only one chasing stripes with a UV light?
