My phone autocorrected 'sunset' to 'sunscreen' and now 40k people think I'm the sunscreen guy
Last Tuesday I posted a 15 second clip of a sunset in Santa Fe with the caption 'golden sunset' and my phone changed it to 'golden sunscreen' before it went up. The algorithm apparently decided this was peak content and shoved it on the feed for two whole days, so my comments are full of people asking where to buy my product and someone offering me $200 for a promo. Does anyone know how to get an algorithm to drop a post, or do I just have to post through it until it dies?

Hate to say it but riding it out is probably your best bet honestly. I mean trying to force an algo to drop a post is like trying to make a cat do something, the more you fight it the more it digs in. Plus the $200 promo offer is real money and 40k people paying attention to you for free is not nothing, even if it's for the wrong reason. Maybe just lean in for a few days, post another sunset pic but actually say sunscreen is not for sale in the caption, let people laugh, and it'll fade out on its own. Deleting it now just makes the whole thing weirder and you lose the free reach.
