A park ranger at Big Bend made me question every long exposure I've posted
He said most astro shots online are overprocessed to the point they're fake, and that we're all feeding a fantasy about what the night sky actually looks like to the eye. Now I'm second guessing my own stacked shots from last month, anyone else feel weird about posting heavily edited photos here?

The sky doesn't look like our photos and that bugs me too. Post what you shot, just don't pretend it's what your eyes saw.
