Am I the only one who thought dark frames were pointless? My latest nebula pic changed my MIND.
I used to skip them because they felt like a hassle. But that photo had WAY less noise after I added dark frames, so now I always take them. The detail it brings out is just WILD.

No way, I totally get that! I skipped them for ages too until I saw the difference side by side. That first clean shot is a game changer, right? What target are you shooting next?

Yeah you nailed it with that fading feeling. Letting things slide even a little bit makes the next session so much harder. I've found if I don't stick to a simple schedule the whole process just feels like a chore. That's why I force myself to do the quick clean right after I'm done shooting now. It keeps the good vibe going for next time.
