Stopped stacking 40 frames in DeepSkyStacker after a guy at a dark site in Utah told me to sort by FWHM first

Sorting by FWHM does help pick the sharp frames, no doubt, but dropping it as some magic rule feels a bit much. Seeing in Utah is already way better than most places, so the guy's advice might not carry over to someone shooting from a light-polluted backyard where seeing is the real limit anyway. Stacking 40 frames isn't the problem, bad frames are, and most of us can just cut the worst 10 to 20 percent and call it good.
