Vent: my astro folder hit 2,500 stacked frames last week and I almost missed it

I was clearing space on my laptop and noticed the folder for my backyard rig was sitting at 2,500 lights since I started in 2021. Back then I was shooting Orion from a driveway in Tucson with 30 second subs, and now I'm doing 5 minute subs from a dark site outside town. The wild part is the best shot is still one from my second month, before I knew anything. Did anyone else keep their first attempts and find they hold up better than the new stuff?
