The $50 attic fan timer I put in last spring cut my July bill by $62
My attic was hitting 140 degrees by noon last summer and my AC ran nonstop from June to August, so I finally put a $50 timer on the attic fan instead of letting it run 24/7. It only kicks on from 9am to 7pm now and my July bill dropped from $310 to $248. I live over in East Point so the afternoon sun just bakes that roof. Has anyone else played with fan timers or do you just leave yours running all day?
