That $75 magnetic tray saved my engine bay from a 10mm socket disaster
I was doing a valve cover gasket on my old Civic last week and dropped a 10mm socket somewhere in the bay. I grabbed my $75 magnetic tray from the auto parts store and swept it around the intake manifold. Heard that little clink and pulled it out. Without that thing I would have been fishing with a coat hanger for an hour or worse, pulled the whole manifold. Anyone else got a specific tool that paid for itself in one dumb moment?
