Found a trick for comparing auto shipping quotes and it saved me almost $400
I had to move my Corolla from Phoenix to Seattle last month and every quote site wanted my email and phone before showing a price. Honestly I got fed up and started calling brokers directly with a script I wrote out, just my zip codes, car model, and whether it runs. Ngl the first three places quoted me between $1,150 and $1,480 for the same route. Then I asked each one if that was the cash or card price and two of them dropped by $150 on the spot. I ended up booking at $790 with a carrier that had decent reviews, and the car showed up in 6 days with no damage. Tbh the big thing was asking about pickup window flexibility, since I said I could wait an extra week and that knocked off more. Has anyone else had luck calling direct instead of using the compare sites, or is that just me?
