Tried the 3-quote rule for shipping my car from Phoenix to Portland and ended up paying $175 more
I called three different auto transport brokers for my move from Phoenix to Portland and went with the middle quote at $1,025 instead of the lowest at $850. The lowest quote turned out to be a bait price that got bumped to $1,200 two days before pickup, so the extra $175 actually got my car delivered on time and without drama. Does anyone else check the broker's deposit terms first, or is it just me now?
