A guy at the pond tour in Dayton told me my edging looked like a 3rd grader did it, and he was right
Back when I first dug my 8x10 liner pond, I just stacked rocks around the edge however they fit and called it done, which looked fine for about a month until everything settled. Then at the Dayton water garden tour in 2019, some old guy squinted at my photos and said "that edging looks like a 3rd grader did it," so I tore it all out and set every rock level with a torpedo level, overlapping like shingles so the liner never peeks through. Now the question is, how do you all hide the liner on a curved edge without hauling in 400 pounds of flagstone like I did?
