Appreciation post: the plastic shed my neighbor put up in 2003 is still holding my mower
My neighbor Dale came over while I was fighting with my tarp-covered push mower and asked why I keep messing with tarps. He pointed at his 8x10 plastic shed, said he paid $460 for it at a home center in 2003, and that it has never leaked once in 20-plus years. I always figured plastic sheds were junk that cracked after two winters, but he pulled the door open and the inside was bone dry with his snowblower sitting right there. Now I am wondering if I wasted three seasons moving stuff around in the rain. Has anyone run one of those resin sheds through a real cold stretch, and did the roof hold up or go brittle on you?
