Plastic shed finally gave out after 7 years, wooden frame was the right move all along

I fought against building a wooden shed for so long. Everybody online kept saying plastic was fire and forget, no maintenance, just put it together and done. My $450 resin shed from Home Depot started cracking around the doors after year 3. Then last month a storm in Tulsa sent a branch through the roof panel like it was paper. Replaced it with a pressure treated frame and metal roof for $620 total. Took me a full weekend but the thing feels solid. Anyone else regret going cheap on the first shed and end up rebuilding?
