That viral stat about cavemen only sleeping 2 hours a night got passed around my office like gospel
Someone printed out a post from a history meme page claiming early humans slept in two chunks totaling like 4 hours, and three people in my office in Tucson started bragging about their 5 hour nights as if it were proof. Turns out the guy who wrote that study said his sample was 8 people and he never claimed it was normal, which the meme left out. Curious if anyone else has seen a single study get twisted this hard at their job.
