My DVR ate the finale of my garbage comfort show and I fixed it with a 12 year old cable box
Honestly I almost cried when my DVR wiped the series finale of this awful reality show I've been hate-watching for 3 seasons. Happened Saturday night, I sat down with a plate of nachos and the recording was just gone. The box said storage full even though I delete stuff all the time. Tbh I think the thing is dying, it's like 8 years old and sounds like a jet engine. Ngl I almost gave up and just read a recap online, but then I remembered my brother left an old cable box in my garage in Phoenix when he moved out 2 years ago. Dug it out, plugged it in, and it still had 40 hours of space. Re-recorded the finale and watched it at 11pm with cold nachos. The show was still terrible in the best way. Has anyone else had a DVR just randomly eat one specific recording like that?
