My clippers died mid fade on a Saturday and I had 11 guys waiting
Last Saturday at my shop in Dayton I had a full book, 11 cuts back to back, and my Andis Master started bogging out halfway through a skin fade on a walk in. Turned out the cord was frayed right at the base and it kept cutting out every time I flexed the wrist, so I finished him with my backup Wahl and apologized like five times. Lost maybe 20 minutes total but the whole mood in the chair went tense and I noticed it threw off my next three cuts too. Anyone else keep a spare clipper plugged in and ready, or do you just roll the dice and hope the cord holds?
