My toilet flange cracked on a Tuesday morning of all times
I went to swap out an old toilet in a rental property and the cast iron flange just split right in two when I pulled the bolts. Ended up having to chip out the old one and use a repair ring for $45 at Home Depot has anyone else dealt with a flange that old just giving up on you?

Funny you say that about Monday in disguise, @morgan.jason. But honestly, a cracked flange on a Tuesday is probably the best time for it. You can hit the hardware store during weekday hours when they actually have stock, not fighting a crowd of weekend warriors. I'd take a Tuesday breakdown over a Saturday one any day.

Ever tried chipping out a cast iron flange without cracking the pipe underneath? That Tuesday sounds like a nightmare. I had a similar one snap on me while I was swapping a toilet in a 1920s house, and the rust was so bad the repair ring barely grabbed. Ended up using a stainless steel plate and some heavy duty epoxy to hold it in place. Took me two extra trips to the hardware store and a whole afternoon. Definitely feel your pain on that one.
