Saw a crowd forming outside a tiny Tulsa diner in 2019, filmed it on a whim, now I get why
I was driving down 11th Street in Tulsa back in 2019 and saw like 40 people lined up outside this nothing little diner at 7am on a Tuesday. I pulled over and filmed a quick clip because it was so weird, then forgot about it. Fast forward to now, that exact diner is the one every food blogger is losing their mind over, and my phone lock screen is literally a bird at a window in the background of that old video. I still have the raw file on a cracked old phone somewhere in my junk drawer. Does anyone else have a random video from before something went huge that they never posted anywhere?
Read a thing once about how half the stuff that goes viral was filmed by some random person who had no clue what they were looking at. Like those early clips of tiny bands playing to empty rooms before they blew up, or some hole in the wall taco spot that people drove right past for years. Idk, I feel like we all have that one blurry video or photo sitting on an old phone that we took just because something looked odd that day. The funny part is you almost never know at the time, you just think it's weird and move on with your life. Hope you find that cracked phone, that clip is probably worth way more now than it was back then, even if it's just for the story.
