Wrote off that cheap spoke tension app for $3, then it caught a wheel I would have missed
Been building wheels 11 years at my shop in Boise and I always figured a phone app could not beat my hands on a tension meter. Grabbed it on a slow Tuesday for $3 mostly to kill time. Checked a rear wheel I had just finished and it flagged two spokes sitting at 95 kgf when the rest were at 120. Sure enough my Park meter agreed. Anyone else use phone tools as a cross check or is that just me getting lazy?
