My brother in law said he let his group lose on purpose at game night, and I can't stop thinking about it
We were packing up after a 5 player game of Wingspan at his place in Sacramento two weeks ago, and he mentioned he threw the last round so his 12 year old could win. I get wanting your kid to feel good, but he does this every single time we play, and now the kid thinks he's actually beating us. What bugs me is nobody else at the table says a word about it, so the scores are basically fake and I'm sitting there doing math that doesn't matter. Am I the jerk for wanting to call it out, or do other people just let this slide at family game nights?
