Rant: the greeter at my gym kept saying my name wrong, and now I think he's a script
Went to the Planet Fitness on Brice Road in Columbus about 3 weeks ago and the guy at the front desk said "welcome back, Greg" even though my name is Caleb and it's on the screen when I scan. I figured whatever, misread it, but the next 4 visits he called me Greg every single time with the same flat voice. Then Tuesday he asked how my knee was doing, which I never mentioned to anyone there, and a real person would not remember a random 6am guy's knee. I started watching him with other people and he says the exact same 6 or 7 lines to everybody, word for word, no matter what they say back. Now I scan in, keep my head down, and wonder if that's a worker or a chat program with a body. Has anyone else had a front desk person who never breaks the script?
