Bought a $7 hot dog at a minor league game in Dayton and the vendor's story didn't add up
I was at a Dragons game back in July and this vendor kept chatting like a real person about the pitcher's ERA and the score. That part felt fine. Then I asked where he was from and he said 'Ohio' three different ways in two minutes, never named a town. I pulled up his profile later and every reply was posted exactly 61 seconds apart, so I'm pretty sure that whole conversation was scripted. Has anyone else run into a bot that actually answers questions but gets weird about specifics?
Had the same thing at a Columbus game where the guy could talk stats all day but froze when I asked what part of town he grew up in. Started timing his replies after that and they were all about a minute apart, so now I just assume anyone too smooth about the small stuff is a script.
