Caught my coworker quoting an AI reply verbatim

In a group chat yesterday my buddy Tim pasted a reply he got on a local news Facebook post, told me it sounded like a human, but I ran it through a free detector and it flagged 92 percent. We went back and forth for a bit until he admitted he copy pasted the whole thing from a bot account that had zero profile picture and joined in 2025. Has anyone else seen those bots jump from Twitter to local community pages now?
