My $25 gas station phone charger died on day 3, right outside Buffalo

Bought it last Monday at a Love's off I-90, it quit charging on Thursday while my phone was at 4%, and now I'm wondering if the 1 year swap warranty is even worth mailing in or if I should just eat the 25 bucks.
