A woman at the library said her planner 'failed' her, and it made me look at my own setup
I was waiting at the checkout desk in Tacoma last Tuesday when she told the librarian she gave up on her journal after 4 months because it stopped feeling useful. It hit me that my own notebook only works because I let it get messy instead of pretty. Curious how many of you have restarted a journal because you were trying too hard to keep it nice.

The 'stopped feeling useful' thing happens everywhere, we ruin stuff by trying to keep it perfect.
