Vent: I was sure washi tape was a waste of money, then a $3 roll saved my whole July setup
I used to roll my eyes at people showing off their tape collections, because I figured sticky paper was just decoration and a waste of cash when a pen works fine. Then last month I started a new job and had to juggle 14 recurring meetings, and plain black lines in my weekly log all blurred together until I couldn't tell work from chores. A $3 roll of blue tape from the craft aisle at the store on Main Street let me color code each area of life, and I actually stopped double booking myself. So what is the one supply you swore you would never buy, and what finally changed your mind?
Sticky notes were my thing I swore off forever. Seemed like a dumb purchase when I could just write lists in a notebook, right up until my planner got so packed that flipping pages to find stuff made me want to scream. A cheap pack of small ones let me flag the stuff that actually had to happen today (laundry, bills, the vet call) and stick them right where I'd see them, then toss them when done. My notebook lists never died. They just sat there haunting me for weeks. Now the sticky note pad lives on my desk and my brain feels way less like a junk drawer.
