Are you actually going to trust that thing with a real fiber job though? Those Facebook Marketplace deals can be hit or miss, and $400 is still a chunk of change for something that might crap out. I'd test it on some scrap first before bringing it anywhere near a customer's line.

Holy crap, $400 for a working fusion splicer? That's insane, I've seen people pay three times that for beat up ones! Did you like, secretly test it with a piece of spaghetti before you handed the cash over or something?
