TIL a $6 bottle of naphtha beat the $40 ultrasonic cleaner on my Canonet shutter

Spent 20 minutes with a Q-tip and naphtha on the blades instead of dunking the whole assembly, and the slow speeds came back clean at 1/4 and 1/8. Anyone else skip the tank on leaf shutters or am I leaving something on the table?
