Vent: my old mentor swore you must never touch the mirror box on a cheap body, and he was dead wrong
He told me back in 2019 that a $60 Canon Rebel wasn't worth opening past the mount, but a stuck mirror on one taught me more about timing gears than any class. What's the worst 'don't bother' rule you were handed that ended up teaching you the most?
