Changed my mind on the Shane Dawson apology after rewatching his 2019 video last month
I used to think his apology was just damage control and that he should stay canceled forever. Then my roommate in Austin made me actually sit through the whole 2019 video again, and I noticed he named specific stuff he did wrong instead of just saying sorry a bunch. Still not sure I fully forgive him, but now I think it was at least realer than most celeb apologies. Anyone else flip on a specific person like this?
