Guy at a Cleveland diner told me my apology for a joke I made in 2016 was 'too fast,' still think about it
Sat next to this guy named Dale at a diner off West 25th last year and somehow we got onto old tweets and apologies. I told him about a comedian who said sorry for a 2016 joke, and Dale goes 'three sentence apology, that's a tell, real regret takes longer to write.' I just wanted my eggs, but now every time I see a celeb statement I count the sentences and it ruins me. Is there actually a right length for these things?
