Watched a YouTube apology tour video get 40k likes, then read the same guy's 2-line tweet about it
When a cooking creator I used to watch got called out for stealing recipes from a small site, his 19-minute apology video got flooded with praise while the quiet tweet where he linked the original writers got maybe 40 likes. The video was all slow music and close-ups of his face, but the tweet was where he actually named the two bloggers and said he'd pay them, and that's the one nobody watched. Do you give more weight to how someone comes back or to the boring post where the real fix happened?
