My sister-in-law told me to job hop every 2 years, but my dad stayed at the same plant for 30
She says loyalty gets you a 3% raise while switching gets you 20%, and he says she has never had to build anything that outlasts her. Who is right here?

Wait, jumping ship doesn't always get you 20%. That number only works if you're moving up each time, not just moving around.
