Vent: Maple Street's new condo carpet is a bad call
Putting glue-down in bathrooms always leads to problems. I've told them, but they won't listen.

I've had glue-down in my bathroom for years without any problems. It really depends on how it's put in and how you care for it.

Wait, so are you telling me that the secret to good flooring is actually putting it in right? That's like saying a car runs well if you drive it properly, what a surprise. But I've seen some bathroom floors that look like they were put in by someone with their eyes closed. Maybe folks should just read the directions before they start gluing stuff everywhere. Or hire a pro, but where's the DIY drama in that?

Tbh Jenny's got a point about care mattering a lot. People act like glue-down is a total disaster but how bad can it really be if it's done right. Even blake_bailey is kind of joking about the DIY drama, and he's not wrong. Honestly it just sounds like another thing for people to get worked up over online.
