Can we talk about how I clocked 14 fake tears in one apology video and now I cant unsee it
Sat through a 9 minute apology from a singer who got caught lip syncing in Dallas and counted 14 separate times she touched her eyes with zero tears actually falling. The giveaway was the tissue she kept unfolding and folding without ever using it. Does anyone else time how long the pause is before they get to the actual 'sorry' part?
The pause before the actual sorry gets me every time. There's always that big sigh and the long stare at the floor like they're searching for the words, then it's just a two second sorry followed by ten minutes of excuses. I watched one last year where the guy choked up right on cue but his eyes stayed completely dry the whole time, and once you notice it you really can't stop.
