Actually, my friend's brother worked at a restaurant where a rumor started about the head chef hiding wedding gifts in the freezer. It was all over local gossip blogs for a bit, but then someone found out it was just a misplaced order of fancy butter. People will believe anything if it sounds juicy enough.
