Question about those "doctors hate this one trick" ads, my dad fell for one in 2019
My dad clicked one of those "doctors hate this one trick" ads back in 2019 and it was just a $47 ebook about drinking more water. What gets me is how the same headline keeps working on different things now, I saw the exact same phrasing on a TikTok ad for a posture brace and it had 2 million views. The trick part is always the same, there is no trick, the whole hook is that you feel dumb for not knowing. I keep a little note on my phone of headline templates I spot, and "doctors hate this" has been on it for 4 straight entries. Has anyone actually tracked one of these from ad to checkout page to see how far the bait goes?
