That thumbnail of a 'shocking' car repair in Detroit turned out to be a total lie
I was scrolling YouTube last Tuesday and saw a thumbnail with a guy holding a cracked engine block, big red arrow pointing at it, text saying 'MECHANIC REVEALS DEALER SCAM'. I clicked it because I run a shop in Grand Rapids and wanted to see what nonsense they were pushing. The video was 14 minutes of him talking about a car he bought at auction for $800, then he shows a tiny rust spot and says it's a 'catastrophic failure'. I checked the comments and half of them were people saying they wasted their time. I get that clicks pay the bills but come on, at least show the actual cracked block you promised. Has anyone else noticed these repair channels are getting worse with the fake thumbnails?
