Watched a guy in Galveston lose his primary on a 40 ft push, now I run a bailout bottle on every job
Two months back I watched a diver's main gas line snag on a piling during a shallow harbor push and he had to free himself with nothing but his backup. I used to think bailouts were overkill for anything under 60 ft, but I rigged one on my last three jobs and it already saved my tail once when a fitting blew at 25 ft. Any of you running a specific bailout setup for shallow harbor work, or am I overthinking it?
