Was dead set against using that spray-on bonder for old concrete...

Tried the $55 bag of SikaLatex on a busted up driveway in Phoenix last Tuesday and now I'm kicking myself for the 3 years I spent grinding and patching the hard way, anyone else have a product they ignored forever that actually works?

Gotta back up what you're saying about SikaLatex. I spent a solid two summers with a grinder and patch mix on my old garage floor here in Tucson, and the dust alone was a nightmare. Tried that spray-on bonder once and watched it peel up after the first monsoon rain. Finally caved and used the SikaLatex on a cracked walkway last fall, and that stuff is still holding tight through the heat and the rare frost we get. Makes you wonder why you ever fought with the old methods when the right product was just sitting on the shelf.

Oh man, that SikaLatex stuff is a game changer for sure... I fought with those spray-on bonders for years before finally giving in and trying it.

Wait, you actually used spray-on bonders for years before trying SikaLatex? I have to know what convinced you to finally switch, @morgan.jason, because I almost gave up on that stuff after my first messy attempt. That stuff is just too good to go back to the cans once you get the hang of it.
