Rant: My old paper notebook beat a $40 conspiracy app for tracking JFK theories
About 10 years ago I used a cheap spiral notebook to keep track of every JFK theory I came across, and last month I switched to a $40 app that promised to connect all the dots for me. The app just fed me the same recycled stuff from 1991 with no sources, while my messy notebook had page numbers and little arrows showing where each claim came from. Does anyone else still use paper for this kind of thing, or am I just stuck in the past?
That bit about the app feeding you the same recycled 1991 stuff with no sources hits home, I've watched fancy tools just repackage old claims and call it research. My shelf of beat up notebooks still does more for me than any subscription, messy arrows and all.
