The day I stopped trusting my tape measure and started trusting the laser

I used to measure everything twice with a tape and still end up a half inch off when the drywall went up. Last month on a remodel in Austin I finally bought one of those cheap green laser units, around $60. Set it up for the ceiling grid and it took me 20 minutes total instead of the usual 3 hours of fiddling with strings and chalk lines. Now I only touch the tape for odd corners and it feels weird, like I'm cheating or something. Anyone else made the switch and still keep a tape in their pocket out of habit?
