Appreciation post: a client said one thing at the shampoo bowl that fixed my whole week
I was rinsing a regular last Tuesday and she goes "you always get the water temp right, my last girl scalded me." It hit me that nobody ever teaches us that stuff, we just figure it out. So now I check the temp on my wrist before the water touches anybody, every single time. It took me two years to build that habit and it took her one sentence to make me feel like I actually know what I'm doing back there. Do you all test the temp first or just go by feel at this point?
