Almost dropped a bundle off a barge in Seattle after a gust caught the load
About 3 months back I was picking off a barge at Terminal 5 in Seattle and a sudden gust swung the load way further than I expected. I had maybe 6 feet of clearance and my heart was pounding for a good 10 minutes after. Since then I started watching the wind meter way more, even on calm days. Anyone else had a close call like that and changed how they run their picks?
