Heard a guy at the parts counter say his password was his dog's name, and I cringed because I used to do the same thing
I was picking up a water pump last Tuesday at the store on 8th street and the guy next to me was on the phone telling someone his password was his dog's name plus the year. I remember doing that back in the day, like 2008, when all I had was one email and a MySpace page so it didn't seem like a big deal. Now one password gets cracked and suddenly your bank, your email, and your Amazon are all open. I switched to a password manager about 4 years ago and it felt weird at first, but now I don't even know most of my own logins. Does anyone still keep a little notebook of passwords, or is that just me being paranoid?
